WHAT IS

COGNITIVE BEHAVIORAL THERAPY?

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is the most effective treatment for OCDbody dysmorphic disorder, BFRBs, and anxiety disorders. CBT is a present-focused, active treatment in which we work together to identify specific goals and work towards accomplishing them by developing new skills. CBT can help you learn to identify your automatic interpretations of different situations and challenge problematic thought patterns and behaviors that maintain your anxiety. The strategies and techniques that we develop will help maintain your improvement after treatment concludes.
